Well, I think we're all Americans here, so I thought I'd start a thread about July 4th. My apologies if you don't take part in this holiday, it was not meant to be offensive.
Anyway, what kind of plans do people have for tomorrow? We're planning on going to a fireworks display downtown, then coming back to the house and playing with sparklers and little things that go bang. I'm excited because we finally get some fireworks legally here in GA!

haha, the 4th was so much fun
my moms side of the family all live in florida and we all go down there for a week every yr. and i brought a friend with me. and we all went to the beach to do fireworks. my uncle brings like 10 boxes full of fireworks and its some illegal stuff too. lol. it was really awesome. then, me and my friend and my cousin, clay, thats our age and his friend krysten all went to the pool after the lights went out. and we wanna do this prank and my mom, his grandma, and our uncle r still outside. but we like cant wait so we do the prank while they r still out here. it was hilarious, they didnt see a thing. we got one of the lounge chairs and puit it in the deep end of the pool. haha. then we brought it over to te shallow end. and we were about to get out and we wanted to take it bac to the deep end. ok now picture this: me, my friend jessi, and krystin are sitting on the chair. clay is pushing the chair to the other end. so if u are looking at this, u just see 3 girls floating to the deep end with no visable means of a flotation device (lol, inside joke) with a guy like pushing. it would look so bizzare if u were watching. then later that night we all snuck out to put all the chairs in the pool, but krystin chickened out and ruined it for all of us. then we were gonna go to krystins friends' party that was across the river but then someone walked out of it and it was this big drama thing and basically the party was over.but then the next day someone found out it was us and our uncle was just laughing cuz they were all out there wen we did it and didnt see a thing
haha, and weve already planned our prank for next yr, we're gonna catch a fish off the dock and put it in the pool. so ya i had a vey eventful 4th of july

Urghh. I hate it when people do that to our neighborhood pool. You have no idea how hard it is to drag a lawn chair out of a 9 foot deep end. I've had to do it a couple times.
Next time think about whoever has to pull the chairs out before you toss them all in.

Where the hell did you get "John"? That's about as far away from my name as you can get...
Me confused.
EDIT: Never mind, I just remembered The Beatles.

You're having fun at someone else's expense. It's extremely disrespectful. Why did I have to pull out the chair? It was either me and my siblings or our Dad who has a bad wrist. It comes with taking care of a pool.
You said you later put all the chairs in the pool, not just one.
My point is that, while fun in the moment, you're causing someone else a lot of trouble having to untangle all those chairs and then lift them out of the pool. Those may not seem that heavy out of the water, but when you're dragging one through 9 feet of water, they feel pretty freakin' heavy.
How about this, you go out and dump a regular sized lawn chair into the deepest part of your pool, then try and drag it out with only your hands. Then you can come back and tell me to "go out and have fun".

Whatever. It's a difference of opinion.
Also, please, whatever you do, don't put a fish in the swimming pool. The chlorine in the water will kill it shortly after you put it in.

Adam's actually right about the fish.
I'm tired of the fighting, guys. Adam, Christina, can't you two get along? You're starting to behave just like Ron and Hermione.
