I hide behind, those who know, Who I am, what I behold, I hunt for sucess, and try for the best, So I won't be mistaken, for all the rest. I search for friendship, and for pride, Someone to believe in, who hasn't lied. Also freedom, and for rapture, I know my mind, shant be captured. I've opened my eyes, to see what real, If only people could see, what others feel. I am who I am, not who others say, You probably wonder, what made me this way. Shallow people, who never thing, They don't know, their ship can sink. That's why I hunt for success, and try for the best, So I won't be mistaken, for all the rest.

i think this is a really nice poem it didnt seem TOO singsongy , but maybe it depends on how you read it. i Read out loud, i think it sounds better than just reading it I like the way you mixed a hopeful message with a statement of being.
(i have one of my own i shall have to post soon. If i can ever find whatever i wrote it on)
