I loooove Dan Brown books, besides the fact that they are lacking in some things. like character depth. I've read Angels and Demons, and The da Vinci Code, and am getting Digital Fortress soon. There's another few I'm forgetting... They are making a movie out of the da vinci code, which makes me happy, because Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf in LOTR, Magneto in X-men) is going to be playing Professor Teabing. i think thats his name...

No, he dies in the end. He's the professor guy who helps Robert. Another thing about his stuff is that the format is the same. the person robert relys on is the bad guy. i looooove Sir Ian. imdb.com/title/tt0382625/che che che check it out!

I've read just about all of Dan Brown's stuff. It's all basically self-conscious thrillers, which vary widely in quality. The Da Vinci Code is OK if you don't take it seriously (hint: just because Dan Brown says it's true doesn't mean it is. A lot of his "science" is highly questionable). Angels and Demons, in my opinion, royally sucked, because it is essentially the same plot as the Da Vinci Code and is incredibly cliche. Digital Fortress is good if you like cryptography (I do). The other one, Deception Point, is dreadful; don't waste your time.
Okay, I'm done pontificating. Adios.

hm. i kinda liked the whole da vinci code thing. sure its highly questionable, but that adds to the intrigue. and i have noticed angels and demons has the same plot. i havent read the others tho...

I started reading "Deception Point." So far so good. Took a hell of a lot of time before you knew what was going on though.
