Harry meets a new friend, named Sara Warner, whose laughter and smile strikes something within himself. He wants nothing more then to be her friend. But what he doesn’t know is that Sara is hiding something about her past. Something that she doesn't even know about.. Together they will face teachers, their O.W.L.S, N.E.W.T.S, the loss of family, Love, heartache, graduation, the final battle, and the friends that were lost. They will learn that life will move on after the battle to save their lives. Some will find love and others will not. But no matter what they’ll always stay close forever, because they are family. For that’s the seasons of the heart.
Prologue: Memories and Wedding Bells Verbena Baltizare, sat at her vanity. Her usually curly blonde hair was pulled back into a tight bun at the base of her neck, and her eyes slightly swollen and red from crying. Her white dress decorated with pearls and lace, bellowed all around her, and her veil lay across the bed, waiting to be put on. A blue garter sat next to her on a dark, rose colored stool. She knew deep down that she should be happy and excited; for it was her wedding and she‘d only been dreaming of this day for her entire life! But she couldn’t help but feel a little sadness. The voices of her bridal court could be heard in the next room; laughing and drinking Champaign. She looked around her bright colored room, and saw her memories. She started to think, “This is my home. The room I grew up in. My brothers picked on me here. I hid in here when I got in trouble for using magic on my brothers. Now, there will be no laughter, no jokes. No one to give me away today.”
She saw pictures on the walls of birthdays, Christmases, her family, fishing trips, camping trips, some of her drawings and paintings. Her queen sized bed with the red and gold afghan her mother had made when she had found out Verbena’s house colors. Her Hogwarts’ robes folded nicely on her trunk; her wand laying on a red and gold pillow with Gryffindor written on it, all her school books, and past work (that included potions and spell books) in a glass and mahogany bookshelf in the corner. As she turned, her eyes came to a stop on a picture of Hermione and herself at the graduation party that she had thrown for all the seventh years. Their whole class came including those in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, except the Slytherins, no idea were they went, but they had an idea. Her eyes filled once again with of tears. “Damn it! Why 'Mione? Why did you do it?” Slamming her fist on to the vanity, she knocked over a picture of Harry, Ron, Hermione and herself, sitting by the lake during their 6th year at Hogwarts. All smiles and waving. She remembered that Neville had taken the picture, which brought a smile to her tear stained face.
It had been five years since the last battle with Voldemort. All the lives that were lost or damaged, young and old. Neville Longbottom, one of her closest and dearest friends, now lays in St. Mungo’s hospital, with his parents, driven mad by a spell sent by Adam Keegan, an old schoolmate of theirs. But he choose to fight along side Voldemort than against him. The spell was meant for Hermione, who had killed his wife, Neva Jacobi; a girl in Ginny’s class but a Hufflepuff. Neville had pushed her out of the way at the last minute and had taken the full blow of the spell. Dean Thomas, Ginny’s ex-boyfriend, was killed by Draco Malfoy’s father. Verbena continued to stare at the picture losing herself into the memories she hadn’t thought about since it happened.
She was standing by a bolder throwing out hexes, charms and curses. When she stepped out to fire, she came face to face with Bellatrix Black. From the corner of her eye she caught site of Harry crouching down behind a bush with Ron who was bleeding, getting ready to send out his own set of spells. A voice drew her mind back towards Bellatrix; it all happened so fast. A flash of green light had caught her attention. Bellatrix had cast the “Killing Curse”. It never touched her because someone had jumped in the way, knocking her to the ground...
A knock at the door startled her back to reality. “V?? Ten minutes, girl! Also, there's some people here to see you, may they come in??” the voice was of her maid-of-honor and best friend Ginny Weasley.
Wiping her eyes once again, she called out, “Yes.”
In walked Fred and George Weasley, Ginny’s twin brothers. Their red hair no longer its fiery red, but a deep Autumn color. They were dressed in black tuxedos with red and gold boutonnières. Verbena stood and turned to her friends. Smiling, she embraced them and kissed them each on the cheek.
“You made it!!” she said, as a single tear started down her cheek.
Patting her cheek George said, “Of course we came!! We couldn’t miss this wedding! Besides, we’re giving you away, Silly” Despite a deep scar that ran across George’s face; which happened during the final battle, he was still a very handsome young man.
Fred exclaimed, “Yeah, We’re the Fathers of the Bride!!” picking her up and swinging her around, with a large goofy grin on his face. Laughing Verbena yelled for him to put her down.
When Fred did put her down George got serious and whispered, “Don’t drink the Champaign that’s in the other room.”
” Why” asked Verbena, trying to catch her breath.
“You’ll see..” he started to count on his fingers from five. When he got to one, they all turned towards the door from which on the other side, came a shriek
“OH MY GOD! KATIE, YOUR MOUTH IS BLACK!!”
“WELL YOURS IS PURPLE, FLUER!”
There was a loud BANG, which sounded like the bathroom door slamming.
Laughing, Verbena turned back to her friends, “Do I want to know??”
Fred burst out laughing, “We put a little charm onto a couple of the bottles.”
At that moment, a very mad and bright pink mouthed Ginny walked in,
“FRED AND GEORGE WEASLEY! WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN DID YOU DO?? YOU COULD HAVE RUINED V’S WEDDING!”
Her face was almost the same color as her mouth.
Verbena who was doubled over from laughing so hard, tried to speak but couldn’t. She looked up at Ginny, took one look at her mouth and started to laugh all over again. Her memories and sadness forgotten for now.......

Chapter 1: An Accidental Meeting Harry Potter, The-Boy-Who-Lived, grew up in a very unloving and unsupportive family. His aunt and uncle lied to him about how his parents, James and Lily Potter, had died. His cousin Dudley, and his cronies were always beating him up and getting him into trouble. When Harry was eleven, he found a new family and new friends within the walls of Hogwarts; a school for witchcraft and wizardry. He had his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. They were in the same house together, so wherever they went, whatever they did, whatever happened; they were always together.... ******************************************************************
Fast forward three years; Harry is in his fourth year at Hogwarts. On this particular day, he was very much late for his Divination class with Professor Trelawney. Rounding the last corner, before he had to climb the silver ladder, he caught site of something red, gold and black before, SMACK! Before Harry knew it, he was on his back look up at the ceiling, wondering, ‘what the hell!’ Sitting up, he glanced for the first time at who he ran into. A young girl with long black hair, bright hazel eyes and glasses sat up, rubbing her backside.
Before Harry could say “Sorry", the young girl said in anger, “Great. Now I’m even more late! Why didn’t you watch where you were-” She caught site of Harry and stopped talking.
Harry stood up and offered her a hand to help her off the cold floor. He apologized with a weak smile, “I’m so sorry; I didn’t see you as I rounded the corner. Are you okay?”
The young girl took his hand and Harry pulled her up. She admitted, “Its okay. Usually, I'm the one running into people. It’s nice to be the one being run into for a change” she said laughing a little bit and smiling. As this young girl was talking, Harry felt something when he looked in her eyes. He couldn’t quite explain it, but it didn't feel right.
“I’m Sapphire Warner, but my friends call me Sara..” The young girl also felt something, but she ignored it. Probably just hungry. I skipped breakfast cause of all that stupid homework from Snape. God, I can‘t wait till lunch!
“I’m Harry Potter, nice to meet you," he smiled back at her. There was a hint of awkwardness between the two. “Well I better go...” Harry fidgeted, trying not to look Sara in the eye.
“Same here, it was very nice to meet you too. I’ll see you later then.”
With a smile and a wave, Sara turned towards the Great Hall and Harry headed towards the north tower, once again at full speed.....
******************************************************************* Later that day, on their way to Potions, Harry told Ron and Hermione about what had happened between Sara and himself. He mentioned the feeling he had when he was talking to her. Hermione looked a little shaken up.
“Hermione, what’s wrong? You look as if you seen a ghost!” Ron exclaimed.
“Oh, it’s nothing. You know what Harry said about the girl? Well, that got me to thinking. Maybe you should see Professor Dumbledore. He might know if this girl is possessed by the Dark Lord, like Ginny was.”
“Yeah, but he didn’t even know she was possessed till it was to late!” Ron pointed out, reaching for the door handle to their Potions class, but before he could turn it, the door flung open as Sara ran out it tears. The sound of laughing and yelling poured out after her.
“Hey! Sara-" yelled Harry, but it was too late. She was up the stairs and gone before he could get her attention.
“What do you think happened?," Hermione worriedly asked Ron and Harry. “Should we go after her?”
“You will do no such thing. Now get into your seats before I take points from your house!” All three jumped at the at the sound of Professor Snape’s voice. He had been standing right behind them.
“I hate when he does that.” mumbled Ron dropping his school bag on the dungeon floor and sitting down.
“What was that Weasley? Five points from Gryffindor, for your unruly behavior and mumbling!”
Harry ducked down and started working on his potions before Snape could yell at him too. Ron mumbled through the left side of his mouth to Harry, “Great, this is going to be a fun class.”
Harry didn’t say anything, he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. He had stopped working. He sat at his desk, rubbing the lighting- bolt shaped scar on his forehead. His face had turned slightly pale.
“Are you okay, Harry? Is your scar bothering you, again?” Hermione asked, putting her hand on his shoulder.
Harry turned to her and with a small smile said, “No, I’m fine. I just got dizzy for a second.” He quietly returned to his potion.

He didn't make them. See that "banner by" note on them?
It's not too hard to do though. Use Photoshop, The GIMP, or some other image editing program (might cost a lot of money depending on what you choose). The learning curve is pretty steep but once you get the hang of it, it's not too hard.
Anyway, I'm terribly sorry to keep up the string of "I'll read it later"s, but I fear I must. It's 12:13 as I post this and I need to go to bed.

It usually runs about $90, but you can sometimes find it on sale for as low as $70. If you can't afford it, you can just ask someone who has (and knows how to use) Photoshop if they'll make one for you.

Sapphire Kathleen Warner, has no idea who her birth parents are, all she knows is that, she is different from the other kids. When Sara, (as her friends and family call her), was a year old, she was found outside Children’s Survices, holding on to a baby doll and a blanket. She lived in three foster homes tell she was about two and half. She was then sent to an orphanage. At the age of three she was adopted by the Warner's, who already had five kids of their own. One day shortly after she moved in with her family, something happened that would change her and her new family’s life completely. It was a rainy day, so all the kids were inside playing. Kevin who was four years old at the time, was playing with Lagos, the triplets Connar, Thomas Jr. and Garrett who were three, were wrestling with each other and little Sara was playing with her dolls. Her oldest sister Angela who was five and half, as she fondly told everyone, was on the porch watching the rain come down and out of the sight of their parents. Sara suddenly felt something was wrong, she dropped her dolls and went in search of her big sister. What she saw will forever be burned into her memory.
When she came out onto the porch, Sara saw through the rain, a group of dark figures move in towards her sister who was standing with her back against a tree, drenched from the rain, her face white with fear. Sara didn’t know what came over her, she felt no fear, only rage. As she ran towards her sister, her pigtails flying behind her, she felt a strong energy go through her young body like a bolt of lightening. The hooded figures turned towards her, sensing something was wrong, she saw white masks under their hoods, as she got closer, the more anger she felt the more energy she illuminated, one by one the hooded figures were thrown through the air like they were hit by trucks. She was about three yards from her sister when she noticed another figure standing over her, he pulled out a stick from within his robes and mumbled something, suddenly a green light flashed, hitting Angela in the chest, she never got the chance to scream. She slumped against tree and was still, the look of horror frozen upon her tiny, five year old face.
“Nooooooooooo!!!!!!“ Sara rushed the dark figure and with all her might pushed him away, he went soaring into the neighbor’s field. Her young mind not yet registering what had happened, she dropped to her knees at her sister’s side, crying.
“Please, Angie! Wake up, she pulled her sister’s head into her lab and started to stroke the young girl’s light brown hair. “ Angie...sissy...please”
As she sat and cried she began to rock back and forth. There sat a little girl, filled with pain and anger holding her dead sister in her lap. Something came over the child, she was never going to be the same, not for a long time. The funeral was held a few days later, the doctors lost for words on how a five year could die so suddenly. So they agreed that she may have been stuck by lightening. And little Sara, who will never forget that night, was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic-Stress Syndrome from having watched her sister die. She withdrew into her own world of pictures and stories, as she got older she threw herself into her writing and her painting. The only person she’d open up to was her oldest brother Kevin, who always knew when she needed a hug or shoulder to cry on.
With the lost of their oldest daughter and the health of their youngest, the Warner’s decided it was best if they moved their growing family (Mrs. Warner was with child, a boy, to be named Jason Wesley), away from the house full of memories. They thought it would be good that Sara put that terrible night behind her but what they didn’t know was that she would be forever haunted by that night. They moved to Liverpool, in hopes that the smell of the Irish Sea, would help her. By the time Sara was eight years old, she hadn’t talked in over five years. She had lost the sparkle in her bright hazel eyes. They found a beautiful home on the water’s edge and everyday when she wasn’t in school or in her room, Sara could be found walking the beach, screaming into the waves and crying to the birds. Deep down she wanted to erase the memory from her mind, wished she never been born, never been adopted by the Warner’s, then Angela would still be alive.
As the years went by Sara, grew up, at the tender age ten she had grown to the point where she was a few inches shorter then her older brother Kevin, who was 5’5 at the age of twelve. That summer a letter came that would once again change all of their lives, this time hopefully for the best. It arrived in a small brown envelope with her name on it, in her parent’s presence's she tore into it..........
“We like to welcome you, Sapphire Warner, to Hogwarts: school of witchcraft and wizardry.”

well..Its kind of a flash back it gives u an idea who she is and why she is the way she was.... here's chapter 3
Sara sat in the library, she was suppose to be studying for test in History of Magic. But instead she kept glancing over at a table full of fifth years girls. They were giggles at something a set of red headed twin boys had said. When one of the twins turned her way she looked back down at her book. Cursing under her breath, she tried in vain to go back to her studying but her eyes kept going back to the group at the other table. She never felt so alone in her life before.
After almost an hour of getting no where, Sara dropped her head onto her parchment in which she was trying to take note on in frustration. As she sat there she thought, “Why can’t I get this? I know!! I need a break. Maybe I’ll take my drawing book and go sit by the lake.” As she stood up to stuff her books and parchments into her book bag. A redhead girl came storming into the library, followed by a short, gangly looking boy. He had his hands over his face as if he was trying to hide something. Through his fingers, Sara saw large red and yellow welts. The girl stormed up to the twins and started to lay into them. Her hands on her hips. She reminded Sara of her mum, when she yelled at the triplets.
From what Sara gathered, the twins were her older brothers named Fred and George. Which one was which Sara couldn’t tell. She slowed down on what she was doing and with a trained ear, tried to listened to what the young girl was saying. But decided it was best that she leave, cause it looked like they were getting an ear full. She learned enough from her own family not to be in the same room when someone was getting yelled at. So with her drawing stuff in her arms and her bag on her shoulder she left the library, with a smile on her face.
As she came to the top of the grand stair case, that would lead her to the main hall to head outside, she came face to face with Peeves, Sara who was not expecting anyone or anything to be in front of her, screamed and dropped her drawings and pencils.
“Bloody Hell! Peeves, you scared me to death!” Sara dropped to her knees to pick up her papers.
“HAHA! Scared a little fourth year!” sang Peeves as he flew around Sara, picking up her pencils and throwing them at her head. Covering her head, Sara continued to try and pick up her stuff.
“Damn you, Peeves! Stop it or I’ll go to the Bloody Baron! I swear, know drop my stuff and buggar off!” She yelled as she pulled out her wand and pointed it at him. Peeves dropped the last three pencils and flew away cursing. Sara went back to picking up her drawings. There were about twenty or so drawing sprawled all around her, when a voice appeared beside her.
“Need some help?” Sara looked up it was the girl that she had seen storm into the library. Sara smiled at the young girl as she dropped to her knees also. “Yeah, that would be great!“
“I’m Ginny Weasley.” the young girl returned her smile as she handed back an armful of drawings. “Are you new here? I don’t think I have ever seen you before?” She stopped handing over the drawings and started to look at them.
Sara sat back on her feet and said, ” I’m Sapphire Warner by the way, but my family calls me Sara. No. I’m not new, I’m a fourth year. I just have a tendency to become a wall flower. I really don’t like crowds.”
“These are some beautiful drawings, Sara. Are they free hand?” Ginny asked as she handed them back.
Stuffing her drawings back into her folder as she said as she turned a slight shade of pink, “Yeah, I love drawing. It helps me relax.” Standing up Ginny extended her hand but Sara didn‘t take it, instead she shuffled her feet uncomfortably, “It’s very nice to meet you Ginny. I‘ll see you later.” And with that Sara turned and sprinted down the stairs and out the door.
******************************************************
Sara didn’t go back to her studying for the rest of the day since it was a Saturday, so instead she spent all day walking around the lake and drawing. The next day after sitting by the lake for a few hours, Sara decide to walk back up to the castle and try once more to study for her History of Magic test. As she was walking across the entrance way, a boy with blondish/white hair came walking towards her, as they passed each other, he stuck out his foot and tripped her. Once again her drawings, pencils and books went flying. Sara landed with a THUD! on the hard stone floor. With tears in her eyes, she sat up and looked at the boy who tripped her. Two more boys walked up next to him, all the while stepping on her drawings and wrinkling and ripping them.
“Next time, you’ll learn not to walk in my way, you fifthly Mudblood.” spat the boy and with that the three walked away, leaving Sara on the floor softly crying picking up her ruined drawings.
Wiping the tears from her face, she winced when she hit her chin. Withdrawing her hand she saw that there was blood on her hands. She wiped her hand on her robe and started to scrabble around to pick up her drawings, praying that no one saw what happened. But as she picked up the one closes to her, she noticed a commotion behind her.
“You’ll pay for that Malfoy! Didn’t your Mummy ever teach you manners? Its not nice to trip people and then walk away!” There were grunts and yelps and what sounded like a fight, Sara could not tell because they were just around the corner.
Sara went back to picking up her drawings when the two that she did not expect came walking towards her, smiling proudly, both sprouting matching black eyes. Sara was in shock, “why would anyone come to my rescue? Especially these two?”
Crouching down to help pick up he papers, one of the twins introduced himself. “I’m George Weasley and my brother’s name is Fred. Are you all right?” With all her pictures picked up, Sara stood up smiling shyly.
“I‘m-” Sara's face went red and she dropped her drawing book, burst into tears, put her face into her hands and ran away. The twins looked at each other and shrugged, and started to pick up the drawings once more. Fred stopped and took a closer look.
“Hey George, check this out, it’s us talking with those Ravenclaw girls last week. I didn’t know she was there.” The picture they were looking at was a black and white pencil drawn picture of the twins sitting at a table in the library, surrounded by a group of Ravenclaw girls, all giggly and flirty.
“Look at this one. Its one of Dumbldore, man she even captured the twinkle in his eyes.” The Headmaster was sitting at the teacher’s table, with him was Professors McGonagall, Snape and Hagrid. “She even capture the perfect sour look at Snape’s face.” They both stared to laugh, tell they came upon a picture that both shocked them. It was a picture of a large tree with a little girl standing in front of it, fear and horror frozen on her face. Around her were Death Eaters. The twins looked at each other and said in unison, “O, my god!”
Fred looked around so if to see if anyone was around and then pulled out a yellowish looking parchment and tapped it with his wand. Mumbling to himself the parchment appeared to be a map. Turning to his brother he said, “She heading up to the owlery.”
George smiled and said, “Shall we go and make friends?” putting the last remaining drawings in the book.
“Yeah, besides we got to give her back her drawing book.“ and with that, they turned and headed in the direction in which Sara had ran.
*************************************************************** Sara was humiliated by what had happened. She sat in the window of the owlery, with her small brown and white owl, Miss Clara. She was letting the tears flow freely. She felt safe here. This is were she usually hangs out, and looks over the landscapes and draws. Ever since her first year at Hogwarts.
“Why Miss C, did that have to happen? I didn’t do anything to him...” A voice made her jump.
“It doesn’t matter, if you did something or not, Malfoy’s always been like that.” Standing in the doorway was Fred and George. Sara wiped the tears from her face. Her chin had stopped bleeding but it hurt each time she touched it.
George came and sat down beside her. “Can I pet him? He’s a very handsome owl. What’s his name?”
Laughing slightly, Sara smiled and said, “Her name is Miss Clara, and yes you can. She don’t bite. But after you calling her a “he” she just might.” and sure enough when George went to pet her, she nipped at him. “Good Girl. Stand up for your self.” Fred started to laugh and soon George and Sara joined him.
“I’m sorry for running away like I did. I should be use to being picked on, I have four older brothers and one younger. I’m not usually a cry baby, but what Malfoy had said and then his cronies stepping all over my hard work, I couldn’t help but cry. By the way I‘m Sapphire Warner, but people call me Sara.”
“Come on, its almost dinner and we still need to go see Madam Pomfrey so she can fix your chin. Then you are sitting with us. That way we can show you how to stick up for yourself whenever you run into Malfoy again!”
“And how to pull off the most amazing pranks you can think of!” Sara smiled for the first time in a long time.
With a tinkle in her eyes that hasn’t been there in a long time, Sara exclaimed, “You guys remind me of my older brothers. Their a set of triplets and they have taught me some great tricks if you ever need help.” Fred and George exchanged large grin. George gave Sara a hand up after she kissed her beloved pet goodbye and together the three of them walked out of the owlery.
